The beauty of Otter Pond is reason enough to stop by. Summertime highs at Otter Pond generally tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Otter Pond descend into the 10's. is a pretty wet place frequently with a great deal of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; July on the other hand is the driest. You can run the rapids of Ducktrap River in the neighborhood of Otter
Pond, and you can stay the night at Greenlaws RV and Tenting Park. That right there is a load already, but it continues; Otter Pond has it all. The Ebens Head Trail is a nice hiking trail close to Otter Pond, and after a long day
outdoors Whitehall Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. On a great day at Otter Pond you can take a hike along the Trail Point Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Otter Pond has to offer, you can camp
at Duck Harbor Campground. The slopes of Camden are so inviting nobody can resist. Clayfers Beach is near Otter Pond and is a beautiful beach to pop by, and there are plenty of folks from Rockland here. This lake is so wonderful.
