    Do stop by Ordway Pond while you're in this part of Maine. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Ordway Pond; the month with most of the rain is July, and February on the other hand is the driest. Ordway Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Northern Pride Lodge and Campground is a fine local campground, and get your heart pumping on the splendid whitewater of Piscataquis River - West Branch. At Ordway Pond during the long summer days highs are  
   in the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows at Ordway Pond all through the winter generally fall into the-10's.
Head up to Eaton Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Big Squaw Mountain Trail. Yeah, come here to Ordway Pond for a wonderful time. If you came to camp Balsam woods Campground
 
               is a delightful site to do that, and a wonderful spot for whitewater paddling is Piscataquis River - East Branch. If you need a place to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a splendid choice; since you're here, you could also explore lovely Brackett Pond.
If you're here at Ordway Pond, you could check out Bald Mountain Stream, and a short trip to Hatch Falls is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Do visit Little Ordway Pond close to Ordway Pond, it's a charming lake. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is fine here at Ordway Pond, you can go for a hike along the Intake Trail, and a great nearby hotel is Bingham Motor Inn.

Breezy Acres Camps and Guide Service is located in both Solon and Eustis Maine. He have housekeeping cabins which are set up with full size stoves, refrigerators,microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The beds are made with linens and there are plenty of towels for the shower in the bathroom. Each cabin has its own picnic table, charcoal grill and outside fire pit. We can sleep up to 38 people.

You can access snowmobile and ATV trails right from the cabin for many miles of riding. Canoeing and kayaking on various lakes, ponds, streams and rivers are a great way to relax. Hunting, fishing, golf and white water rafting are some of the other activities that we offer.

We offer reasonable rates and great hospitality.

Eaton Mountain provides affordable and convenient skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing to the greater Waterville/Skowhegan area. The mountain boasts a suprising variety of terrain for a compact ski area including glades, challenging steeps, and classic New England style trails. Most of the area is covered with snowmaking and is lit for nightskiiing. Equipment rentals and lessons are available. The base lodge has a snackbar and provides a place to warm up by the wood stove and meet friends.
The ski area has new owners as of November 2008 and will not be operating for the 2008-09 ski season. The new owners will be taking the time to make improvements and prepare for a grand reopening in the fall of 2009. Immediate improvements are planned to include an all new snowtubing facility and widening of the Moose slope for a new terrain park.
The ski area is located on Lambert Road, just off Route 2 between Skowhegan and Canaan....
