Get yourself into a kayak and hit Piscataquis River - East Branch, and after a long day outdoors Bingham Motor Inn is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. If you're here at Ordway Pond, you could visit Bald Mountain Stream, and Ordway Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Northern Pride Lodge and Campground is a delightful local campground. If       you fancy the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Ordway Pond. A short journey to Hatch Falls is always worthwhile, and hiking along the Big Squaw Mountain Trail is good fun. A pleasant nearby hotel is Lodge at Moosehead Lake; stunning scenery and nice skiing is what you acquire at Eaton Mountain. Throughout the months of summer here at Ordway Pond, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into                  the 50's. Through the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Ordway Pond during the wintertime commonly dip into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Piscataquis River - West Branch in a kayak, and do take a hike on the Intake Trail. There's so much to do here at Ordway Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Balsam woods Campground is a nice place for that, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Hedgehog Pond is just a very short distance away.
