     Olivers Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Hiking along the Sawyer Notch Trail is perfect fun, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Goose Falls. On a brilliant day it's a nice idea to spend the day at Lighthouse Beach, and The Haulover is nearby, and is a fine spot. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the vicinity of Olivers Pond. Labrador Swamp is a swamp right next door to Olivers Pond.
This lake
 
   is so wonderful. The scenery at Northwest Harbor in the neighborhood of Olivers Pond is beautiful, and while you're here you can play some golf at Island Country Club. Camping is available at Greenlaws RV and Tenting Park, and Blue Hill Falls has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by. Eggemoggin Oceanfront Lodge is a splendid place to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Old Quarry Ocean Adventures is a good place to camp.

               duration of the summertime months at Olivers Pond temperatures are regularly in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's while Olivers Pond night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Not far from Olivers Pond you find Burnt Cove, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Fort Knox Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Black Dina Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and The Brook Beach is quite close by if you're in a beach type of mood.
Olivers Pond is a good place of normal rain; November is when you get the most rain here while February is regularly the driest month. If the weather is good here at Olivers Pond, you can go for a hike along the Trail Point Trail; a wooded area close by is Crockett Cove Woods.
