All through the days of summer at Oak Pond temperatures are usually in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Oak Pond descend into the 0's. Oak Pond is a pretty wet place usually with a good deal of rainfall; all through the month of November you get the most       rain around here, and the driest month is June. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Sunset Point Campground is always a wonderful experience, and Mopang Stream has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Oak Pond. Visit Barren Pond Brook if you're here at Oak Pond, and the Lead Mountain Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby. A fine spot to camp here at Oak Pond is Keenes Lake                  Camping Grounds, and dry warm beds await you at Bar Harbor Inn.
