     Trout Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from Oak Hill Pond, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Bangor here. Oak Hill Pond gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. So much entertaining stuff to do at Oak Hill Pond, so little time. Americas Best Value Heritage Motor Inn is a good location to get some rest, and there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Cathedral Trail. If  
   you need a location to stay Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a wonderful choice, and a great location to camp here at Oak Hill Pond is Roaring Brook Campground.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Nesowadnehunk Stream; on a good day you can take a hike along the Chimney Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Pockwockamus Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit; the Dudley Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. For the
 
               period of the months of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Oak Hill Pond. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Oak Hill Pond are in the-10's.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Oak Hill Pond, you could also have a look at stunning Lower Togue Pond, and Oak Hill Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Big Moose Campground is a tremendous local campground. Why not go to nearby Beaver Brook since you're here at Oak Hill Pond; if you come at the right time of year, Sandy Stream offers some delightful whitewater.
