Stump Pond is a lake in the vicinity, and during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Portland-South Portland for sure. Throughout the summertime at Number One Pond highs are mostly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Number One Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Sanford       Kennebunkport Area is a good location to spend a night or two; you can stay the night at Jellystone Park Camp Resort. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Little River, and enjoy a round of golf at Sanford Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Sanford Inn, and why not a little side spree to Goodall Brook. Number One Pond is a rather wet place typically with a large amount of rain; of all the months in a year November is                  the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is September. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Number One Pond, too pleasant to be true. There's always Goodall-Sanford Dam to go to in close proximity to Number One Pond. There's so much to do here at Number One Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Sand Pond Camping Park is a glorious place for that. Nearby lakes? Sure, Number 1 Pond is right next door to Number One Pond, and Beaver Hill is clearly visible from Number One Pond.
