So much entertaining stuff to do at Number Nine Lake, so little time. Swamps like Hovey Swamp are fun to have a look at, and there are some nice whitewater spots on B Stream. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Number Nine Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Number Nine Lake. Hit the slopes       at Bigrock close at hand, and if you come at the right time of year, St. Croix Stream offers some wonderful whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid place to camp here at Number Nine Lake is Neil E Michaud Campground, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Pierce Tote Road. If the weather is fine here at Number Nine Lake, you can go for a hike along the Kennedy Tote Road; a nice close by hotel is Scottish Inns Houlton. Camping                  is available at Wilde Pines Campground; if you need a spot to stay Shiretown Motor Inn is a pleasant choice. Number Nine Lake is a good spot of normal rain; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful.
