This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. A lake nearby is Virginia Lake. The yearly rainfall here at Number Eight Pond is about average; August is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Number Eight Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Number Eight

and Chapman Inn is a delightful place to get some rest. Number Eight Pond is located in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Bartlett Brook is a wonderful local stream, and you don’t have to go far from Number Eight
Pond to see the water at Virginia Lake Dam. All year is a magnificent time in the White Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Why not camp at Crocker Pond Campground while you're here at Number Eight Pond, and you can hit the slopes
at Mount Abram in close proximity. That right there is loads already, but it carries on; Number Eight Pond has it all. If the weather is lovely, you acquire a delightful sight of Albany Mountain from Number Eight Pond; going for
a hike on the Albany Mountain Trail is always a great adventure. A splendid place to visit close to Number Eight Pond is Albany Notch, and a brilliant close by hotel is The Bethel Inn Resort. In case you don’t have a problem getting
soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Crooked River, and there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Albany Notch Trail.
