In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling
on Little River, and the scenery at Goodall-Sanford Dam is stunning. A great nearby hotel is Sanford Inn; not far from Number 1 Pond you'll hit upon Sand Pond which is a beautiful lake. Yeah, come here to Number 1 Pond for a good
time. During your tour to Number 1 Pond you'll meet some people from Portland-South Portland for sure, and you can stay the night at Sand Pond Camping Park.
