If you are in Hancock county it's always a good idea to stop by Norwood Cove. Norwood Cove sees pretty high levels of precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here while August is ordinarily the driest month. Just can't get enough of Norwood Cove. Acadia National Park is a fine national park, and get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Union River. You can run the rapids of Blue Hill Falls in close proximity to Norwood Cove; nearby

| | you stumble on the Saint Saveur Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail.
Summer at Norwood Cove comes with high temperatures in the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are usually in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Norwood Cove drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The Harbour Cottage Inn; if you're here, do take a visit to Clark Point. | |

A visit to Echo Lake Beach in the vicinity of Norwood Cove is always a nice idea, and Canada Cliff is a tremendous place to go to while in the area.
Acadia Mountain is beautiful and can be spotted from Norwood Cove. This lake
is so wonderful. Norwood Cove is good enough to spend more than a day at, Smuggler's Den Campground is a good local campground, and the Valley Cove Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. But wait, there's more to do right next door
to Norwood Cove. Hadlock Brook is a stream that you may encounter during your stay, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Valley Peak Trail.
Why not visit Norwood Cove Dam since you're here; you could always look at
Fernald Rock. If you need a location to stay Harbor View Motel & Cottages is a delightful choice, and don't leave Norwood Cove without first paying a visit to Jesuit Spring. A brilliant location to camp here at Norwood Cove is White Birches Campground; you must without doubt take a look at beautiful Cobble Beach since you're here.
