Norton Pond is a good place of common rainfall; most of the rain falls through July while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Pleasant River - East Branch in a kayak; at Norton Pond you can make out Searles Hill. Do take a look at Jaquith Pond in the vicinity of Norton Pond, it's a beautiful lake, and camping at South Branch Lake Camp is       always a glorious experience. Go for a hike on the Norton Trail, and taking a little journey to close by Chase Cove is a great idea. While you're here at Norton Pond, you could also pop by pretty East Pond, and there's pleasant hiking along the Packards Trail. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are really bountiful here at Norton Pond. While you're here at Norton Pond you will meet lots of people from nearby Bangor, and brilliant hiking is available along the Pleasant                  River Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Schoodic Stream, and Norton Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Jo-mary Lake Campground is a nice local campground. All through the summer months here at Norton Pond, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
