So much fun stuff near Northwest Pond, absolutely unbelievable. You'll find a beautiful lake called Middle Branch Pond near Northwest Pond, and a fine close by hotel is Sanford/Kennebunkport Super 8 Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Little River, and you can stay the night at Walnut Grove Campground. Through the summertime, highs usually are in the       70's at Northwest Pond. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Northwest Pond. Northwest Pond usually gets a good deal of rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is January. Getting to Conant Brook from Northwest Pond is uncomplicated, and if you need a spot to stay Sanford Inn is a great choice.                  Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Little Ossipee River. There's so much to do here at Northwest Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Maine Mountain is a tremendous place for that.
