All through the long summer days at Northwest Pond temperatures are usually in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 20's with temperatures at Northwest Pond dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Saddleback is in the neighborhood of Northwest       Pond. Northwest Pond ordinarily gets much rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. Don't leave Northwest Pond without first going for a hike along the Arnold Trail. There's so much to do here at Northwest Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cathedral Pines Camping Area is a great location for that. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Kennebago River, and brilliant hiking is available                  along the Arnold Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Dead River - North Branch, and if you came to camp Cupsuptic Campground is a nice site to do that. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Northwest Pond; Morrell Trail is a pleasant local trail, and a scenic lake like Grants Pond is a wonderful spot to pop by.   The Perennial Inn, Rumford 39 miles away The ambiance projects a genuine feeling of country hospitality.
