For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Northwest Pond reach the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Northwest Pond. The snow is great at Saddleback. There's so much to do here at Northwest Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cupsuptic Campground is a great location for       that. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Northwest Pond has to offer, you can camp at Cathedral Pines Camping Area, and there are other locations here than Northwest Pond, for example L Pond. The high level of precipitation makes Northwest Pond a quite wet spot; during August this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. While you're here at Northwest Pond you can take a hike along the Arnold Trail, and you can take a little                  tour to Beaver Pond Dam while you're here at Northwest Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There is a magnificent hiking trail in close proximity to Northwest Pond called the Morrell Trail; Dead River - North Branch is a good whitewater spot close by. Having a great time at Northwest Pond is trouble-free.
