Through the long summer days at Northern Pond highs are mostly in the 70's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Northern Pond. The yearly precipitation here at Northern Pond is about average; most of the rain falls all through       November; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Northern Pond. If you need a place to stay Seascape Motel & Cottages is a good choice, and one of the governing features of the surroundings of Northern Pond is Chicks Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm locations, why not visit York Ponds in the neighborhood of Northern Pond; whitewater                  paddling is good on Marsh Stream. The snow is tremendous at New Hermon Mountain; a great nearby hotel is Belfast Harbor Inn. Go for a hike on the Mount Megunticook Trail, and you can stay the night at Moose Pond Campground.
