From a precipitation point of view North Pond is a pretty typical place; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. A delightful lake like Warren Sawmill Pond near North Pond is a brilliant place to stop at, and you're sure to bump into some friendly folks from Rockland here. This lake is so wonderful. The Country Inn Camden-Rckprt is a good place to get some rest,       and White Oak Pond is a nice lake nearby. You'll need more than a day to explore everything North Pond has to offer, you can camp at Loons Cry Campground, and paddling on St. George River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Warren Sawmill Pond Dam is worth taking a look at while you're here, and the Ragged Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. Summertime highs at North Pond regularly tend to be in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly                  in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the winter for North Pond tend to be in the 0's. North Pond is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, Loon's Cry Campground is a glorious site to camp nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Hockomock Nature Trail. Drift down the rapids of Oyster River in a kayak, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Camden. Any time is a perfect time at North Pond if you like the outdoors. Dry warm beds await you at Samoset Resort on the Ocean; swing by Back River it's a perfect spot to take a look at.
