    North Pond is a lake worth visiting. The annual rainfall here at North Pond is about average; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. For the duration of the months of summer here at North Pond, high temperatures usually reach the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's with temperatures at North Pond dipping  
   down into the-10's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Pelletier's Campground; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Round Trail.
Perch Pond Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Big Brook River. There's so much to do here at North Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Little Black Check Point is a good spot for that, and the top of Gardner
 
               Mountain is easily seen from North Pond. Be careful coming to North Pond, you might not ever want to go home again. While you're here at North Pond you can take a hike along the Island Pond Trail.
Going for a hike along the Fox Brook Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and a pleasant site for whitewater paddling is Fish River.
