There's so much to do here at North Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Little Black Check Point is a good spot for that, and the top of Gardner                  Mountain is easily seen from North Pond. Be careful coming to North Pond, you might not ever want to go home again. While you're here at North Pond you can take a hike along the Island Pond Trail.
