For the duration of the months of summer highs here at North Otter Pond get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Otter Pond Stream is a lovely stream that is worth a visit, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Otter Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Fire Warden Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Pierce Pond Stream offers some wonderful whitewater. Dead River, and a good place to camp here at North Otter Pond is Enchanted Outfitters & Lodge. That right there is a load already, but it goes on; North Otter Pond has it all. Not far from North Otter Pond, you'll come across Moose
Pond which is a charming lake, and the panorama of pretty Black Nubble is delightful. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Arnolds Trail is always a good adventure, and a day on the slopes of Sugarloaf USA is just
what you need. An average amount of rain falls at North Otter Pond; November is when you get the most snow here, and February is when it's the driest.
