     If the weather is delightful here at No Name Pond, you can go for a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything No Name Pond has to offer, you can camp at Jackman Landing Campground. If you need a location to stay Herbert Grand Hotel is a good choice, and float down the rapids of Penobscot River - South Branch in a kayak. From a precipitation point of view No Name Pond is a pretty normal location; most of the rain falls  
   during July, and February is the month with the least moisture. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining things just keep reading. Number Two Mountain is a peak you can spot from No Name Pond, and there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Sally Mountain Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Daymond Pond is close at hand, and do put some time aside to spend at The Falls since you're here at No Name Pond. Since you might
 
               be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Mud Pond. There's so much to do here at No Name Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Moose River Campground is a great place for that. During the long summer days at No Name Pond temperatures are regularly in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at No Name Pond temperatures descend to the-10's.
On a glorious day at No Name Pond you can take a hike along the Alder Brook Trail.
