    It's always fun to stop by No Name Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Moose River Campground is a great place to camp. At No Name Pond through the long summer days highs are in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at No Name Pond dip into the-10's. This is a fine neighborhood for people who like lakes. Daymond Pond is a lake in  
   the neighborhood, and the Sally Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best.
Camping is available at Jackman Landing Campground; Bingham Motor Inn is a pleasant spot to get some rest. Good hiking is available along the Bald Mountain Trail, and get wet paddling on Penobscot River - South Branch. You absolutely must have a thing about No Name Pond. At No Name Pond you can catch a sight of Number Two Mountain, and you're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Mud Pond
 
               is one of those nearby.
No Name Pond gets a common amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's brilliant hiking along the Alder Brook Trail, and a visit to The Falls will fill your soul with glorious feelings.
