On a great day at Newbert Pond you can take a hike along the Ragged Mountain Trail; on a splendid day you can take a look at Cedar Swamp, a swamp in close proximity to Newbert Pond. Newbert Pond gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. During your spree to Newbert Pond you'll meet some folks from Rockland for sure; there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Mount Megunticook Trail.
