What a nice lake Natanis Pond is. For the duration of the warm months highs here at Natanis Pond get into the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Natanis Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's magnificent hiking along the Arnold Pond Trail, and a beautiful lake like Chain of Ponds is a great spot to have a look at. Lakes are

| | such peaceful spots, why not check out Round Pond in the neighborhood of Natanis Pond; at Natanis Pond you can observe Indian Stream Mountain. If you came to camp Cathedral Pines Camping Area is a great location to do that, and why not head up to Saddleback and strap some skis to your feet. Pond. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moose River - South Branch, and magnificent hiking is available along the Morrell Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Natanis Pond is magnificent
enough to spend more than a day at, Black Arrow Lodge is a magnificent local campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Natanis Pond; Arnold Trail is a magnificent local trail. Natanis Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest month of the year is February.

 | 2 PHOTOS I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises.... |
