     Muskrat Pond is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area close to Muskrat Pond has to offer. Don't leave Muskrat Pond without first going for a hike along the Angel Falls Trail, and you can never get enough of the splendid skiing at Black Mountain. There are wonderful places to discover along the Brook Trail; you can stay the night at Dummer's  
   Beach.
Brush Mountain is clearly visible from Muskrat Pond, and Byron Notch is another nice spot to pop by nearby. Muskrat Pond gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Grand Summit Resort Sunday River is a tremendous place to get some rest, and Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is a brilliant campground nearby.
For the duration of the months of
 
               summer highs here at Muskrat Pond get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Muskrat Pond. This site, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. If you need a location to stay The Perennial Inn is a good choice; get wet paddling on Swift River. So much fun stuff to do in the White Mountains, not enough time. Going for a hike on the Chimney Trail is always a great adventure, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Sandy River.
This lake is so wonderful. Really tremendous skiing awaits you at Saddleback.
