     Munson Lake is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, Chet's Camps is a glorious spot to camp nearby, and a tremendous site like The Commons here at Munson Lake is too wonderful to miss. Be careful coming to Munson Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. East Machias River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by. All through the long summer days, highs usually are in the 70's at Munson Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours  
   it's commonly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Munson Lake. The high level of precipitation makes Munson Lake a rather wet spot; November is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is June.
In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Northern Inlet, and possibly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Vining Lake is just a very short
 
               distance away. This lake is so wonderful. A spree to Roosevelt Campobello International Park is worthwhile, and as expected, this is a good neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Spectacle Lakes is a lake close by. Dead Brook is a stream that you may stumble upon during your stay, and Cobscook Bay State Park is a delightful local campground.

Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) . Hunting in that area was, should I say, productive . ...
