All through the summertime at Muddy Pond temperatures are frequently in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Muddy Pond are in the 0's. It's a fine idea to visit Fish Brook, it's near Muddy Pond, and Muddy Pond is a perfect spot to visit for more than       one day, Pine Ridge Campgrounds is a perfect spot to camp nearby. A pretty lake like Colby Pond in close proximity to Muddy Pond is a pleasant location to stop at, and The Country Inn Camden-Rckprt is a splendid location to get some rest. The yearly rainfall here at Muddy Pond is about average; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while February is frequently the driest month. So many fun things to do at Muddy Pond, so little time. You'll                  never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Camden if you're here, and close by you stumble on the Ragged Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Glen Cove Inn and Suites. This lake is so wonderful. St. George River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Muddy Pond has to offer, you can camp at Sennebec Lake Campground.
