A good site for whitewater paddling close to Mud Pond is Little River, and in all probability you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Round Pond is just a very short distance away. Mud Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. People from Portland-South       Portland love to come to Mud Pond, and the view of Oak Hill is beautiful. Throughout the months of summer at Mud Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Mud Pond.
