Mud Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Summertime at Mud Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's while Mud Pond night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. You could also stop by Saint George Lake while you're here at Mud Pond; it's nearby, and Cozy Pines Campground is a great campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful.

in the vicinity of Mud Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend St. George River, and dry warm beds await you at Pittsfield Motor Inn. A common amount of rain falls here at Mud Pond; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February.
