Summertime at Mud Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's while Mud Pond night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. You could also stop by Saint George Lake while you're here at Mud Pond; it's nearby, and Cozy Pines Campground is a great campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful.       Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Sheepscot River, and if you came for an overnight stay Pine Ridge Campgrounds is a delightful place to camp. A day on the slopes of Camden is just what you need, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Mount Megunticook Trail. But wait, there's more to do near Mud Pond. Mud Pond is not the only location close by, Little Pond is a close by lake, and hiking along the Ragged Mountain Trail is                  perfect fun. This lake is so wonderful.
