Hiking along the Mount Megunticook Trail is delightful fun, and Sheepscot River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Bolen Hill is pretty and can be distinguished from Mud Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. George River, and a good nearby hotel is Pittsfield Motor Inn. Camden is a fine local ski area, and Saint George Lake Dam is a picturesque place,

| | undeniably worth checking out. Camping is available at Pine Ridge Campgrounds, and do check out Little Pond, it's a wonderful lake. For the duration of the summer highs here at Mud Pond reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Mud Pond. that you could explore. Mud Pond is right by the Ragged Mountain Trail, and The Country Inn Camden-Rckprt is a glorious location to get some rest.
