A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Mud Pond; through the month of November you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.       You can run the rapids of Sheepscot River close to Mud Pond, and a delightful lake like Saban Pond is a fine place to go to. You're sure to run into some nice folks from Augusta-Waterville here. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Town Line Campsites is always a splendid experience; Bear Pond is a good lake close by. Summertime highs at Mud Pond regularly tend to be in the 80's.
