A day on the slopes of Eaton Mountain is just what you need, and a splendid nearby hotel is Bingham Motor Inn. Throughout the summertime at Mud Pond highs       are usually in the 70's, and the overnight is slightly chillier of course, typically in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are mostly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Mud Pond. Get drenched paddling on Piscataquis River - East Branch, and a splendid place to camp here at Mud Pond is Northern Pride Lodge and Campground.
