This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Mud Pond with overnight lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Mud Pond temperatures sink       to the-10's. Kennebec River is a good whitewater spot near Mud Pond; a lake close by is Black Brook Pond. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up.
