Mud Pond gets a common amount of annual rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. Hidden Springs Campground is a tremendous local campground, and the sight of Whetstone Mountain is delightful. Going for a hike along the Telos Tote Road will       let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; whitewater paddling is fine on Wassataquoik Stream. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Mud Pond, high temperatures usually reach the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Mud Pond dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. Visit Trout Brook while you're here at Mud Pond, and if you need a place to stay                  Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mud Pond you can take a hike along the Sand Bank Trail, as expected you could also take a look at Little Soldier Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. Mud Pond is a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Allagash Gateway Campsite is a tremendous site to camp nearby, and hiking along the Sandbank Trail is great fun. This lake is so wonderful.
