During the summertime months, highs generally are in the 70's at Mud Pond while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Mud Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mud Pond; Old       Gold Mine Trail is a wonderful local trail, and why not camp at Villa Vaughn Campground since you're here at Mud Pond. A good nearby hotel is Courtyard Bangor, and a good location to camp here at Mud Pond is Pushaw Lake Campground. So much cool stuff to do here at Mud Pond, too splendid to be true. A round of golf at nearby Hidden Meadows Golf Course is a great way to kill some time; Mud Pond is a place with many visitors from Bangor.
