Mud Pond is a lake worth visiting. Shawnee Peak is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and you can go for a hike on the Cold Brook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wild River, and if you need a site to stay Chapman Inn is a splendid choice. Mud Pond gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is January.

| | Sunday River has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff, and a visit to Upper Bay is always a pleasant idea. Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. If you're here at Mud Pond, you could have a look at Cold Brook, and don't leave Mud Pond without first going for a hike along the Great Brook Trail. Golf can be played at Lake Kezar Country Club, and Horseshoe Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit. Yeah, come here to Mud Pond for a pleasant time. | |

Crooked River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mud Pond has to offer, you can camp at Kezar Lake Camping Area. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at
Oxford House Inn, and good hiking is available along the Red Rock Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. This place, Mud Pond, it truly has so much outdoors fun stuff. There's so much to do here
at Mud Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cold River Campground is a pleasant location for that. Summertime highs at Mud Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's; the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, generally in the
50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's while Mud Pond night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. And if that's not enough there's a heap more entertaining stuff to do in the White Mountains. Gammon Hill is clearly visible from Mud Pond, and do visit Little Pond, it's a wonderful lake.
