Mud Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Mud Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Red Rock Trail; you're possibly addicted to lakes, Bradley Pond is one of those nearby. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great globe it would be. Here at Mud Pond you can distinguish Gammon Hill.
All through the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Mud

| | Pond, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are generally in the 20's while Mud Pond night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. That right there is a lot of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. of entertaining stuff to do in the vicinity of Mud Pond. The slopes of Sunday River are so inviting nobody can resist; close by you stumble on Upper Bay.
What would winter be without some skiing at Shawnee Peak, and you can stay
the night at Cold River Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Oxford House Inn is a great place to get some rest, and most likely you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Little Pond is just a very short distance away. Kezar Lake Camping
Area is a great campground nearby; in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wild River.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mud Pond; Cold Brook
Trail is a fine local trail, and of course Cold Brook flows through this area. Be careful coming to the White Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. The Great Brook Trail offers hiking at its best, and whitewater
paddling is tremendous on Crooked River. The amount of precipitation that falls at Mud Pond is close to the national average; August is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest.
