This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Mud Pond rocks! Not far from Mud Pond you find Greenvale Cove. So much amusing stuff in the White Mountains, just amazing. One of the major traits of the surroundings of Mud Pond is Beaver Mountain, and good skiing awaits you at Saddleback. Black Mountain has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff, and you can run the rapids of Dead       River - South Branch. For the duration of the warm months at Mud Pond highs are usually in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Mud Pond. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool things just keep reading. A golf course in the neighborhood of Mud Pond is Evergreen Golf Club & Golf School; the scenery at Haley Pond Dam is charming.                  An average amount of rainfall falls at Mud Pond; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Angel Falls Trail, and Mud Pond is not the only place nearby, Haley Pond is a nearby lake. And that's not all there is to do here in the White Mountains. A great location for whitewater paddling near Mud Pond is Sandy River, and a fine site to camp here at Mud Pond is Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground.
