You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Mud Pond. Going for a hike on the Fire Warden Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and if you came for an overnight stay King & Bartlett Lake Camp is a fine spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. You're perhaps into lakes, Wethern Pond is one of those close       by. A day on the slopes of Saddleback is just what you need, and Dead River - South Branch is a nice whitewater spot nearby. At Mud Pond during the summertime highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Mud Pond dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. The skiing at Sugarloaf USA is pleasant, and Herbert Grand Hotel is a wonderful place to get some rest. This                  lake is so wonderful. Looking for something near Mud Pond? Mud Pond is a good spot of common precipitation; July is the month that gets the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month.
