Mud Pond is a nice lake to visit. The Perennial Inn is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Sandy River, and the skiing at Saddleback is wonderful. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the White Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Chimney Trail, and Mud Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day

Piazza Rock Trail, and obviously, this is a good region for folks who like lakes, Harvey Pond is a lake close at hand. Mud Pond is a good spot of normal precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is
the month with the least amount of precipitation. High temperatures at Mud Pond during the warm days of summer are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in
the 20's while the cold winter nights at Mud Pond are in the-10's. Put some time aside to spend at Smalls Falls while you're here at Mud Pond, and you're possibly keen on lakes, Stetson Pond is one of those close by.
