A wonderful nearby hotel is The Perennial Inn. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Mud Pond. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs all through the winter are frequently in the 20's; night lows at Mud Pond through the winter ordinarily descend into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Mud Pond without first going for a hike along the Chimney Trail, and Smalls Falls is a perfect

Really great skiing awaits you at Saddleback, and you'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Harvey Pond. Any time is a great time at Mud Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. so wonderful. Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is a great campground nearby, and going for a hike on the Piazza Rock Trail is always a splendid adventure. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. Take a little trip
to Chandler Mill Stream if you're here at Mud Pond, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Black Mountain. The amount of rainfall that falls at Mud Pond is close to the national average; throughout the month
of August you get the most rain around here while February is generally the driest month. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
