If you came for an overnight stay Martin Stream Campsite is a brilliant site to camp; if you need a place to stay Residence Inn Auburn is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Hebron Pines Campground is a fine campground nearby; a picturesque lake like Black Pond is a pleasant spot to pop by. You just can't envision       the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area in the neighborhood of Mud Pond has to offer. Soar down the rapids of Nezinscot River in a kayak, and Travelodge Lewiston is a delightful spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Lost Valley is a wonderful local ski area, and if you come at the right time of year, Nezinscot River - West Branch offers some wonderful whitewater. Through the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 70's at Mud Pond                  while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are commonly in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Mud Pond temperatures sink to the 0's. Mud Pond is a wet place that gets a large amount of rainfall; through November this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Here at Mud Pond you can see Gauthier Hill; swing by Meadow Brook it's a tremendous site to check out.
