Moxie Pond is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Northern Outdoors is a nice spot to camp nearby, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Moxie Pond; Big Squaw Mountain Trail is a brilliant local trail. All the outdoors entertaining things next to Moxie Pond will keep you coming back again and again. There are some good whitewater spots on Moxie Stream, and not far from Moxie Pond you'll locate Prescott Pond       which is a lovely lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Intake Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Baker Pond. Don't forget to go to Birch Point since you're here at Moxie Pond; from Moxie Pond you get a brilliant panorama of Mosquito Mountain. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Kennebec River, and after a long day outdoors Bingham Motor Inn is a perfect site                  to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Arnolds Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Moosehead Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Moxie Pond is a good location of normal rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; February is when it's the driest. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Moxie Pond. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's.
