You'll need more than a day to look at everything Moxie Pond has to offer, you can camp at Enchanted Outfitters & Lodge, and the Arnolds Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. Stay the night at Northern Outdoors, and almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Prescott Pond is just a very short distance away. Not sufficient hours in a day       to enjoy this site. Going for a hike along the Big Squaw Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; Moxie Pond Dam is gorgeous. Mosquito Mountain is a peak you can spot from Moxie Pond, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Intake Trail. Moxie Pond gets a common amount of annual rainfall; during July this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. You                  could also take a look at Baker Pond since you're here at Moxie Pond; it's nearby, and get your heart pumping on the splendid whitewater of Kennebec River. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Moxie Stream, and after a long day outdoors Bingham Motor Inn is a good site to spend a night or two. Summer at Moxie Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 50's.
