Lakes are great; Horseshoe Pond is a lake that's close to Mountain Pond. Going for a hike on the Eagle Lake Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and some of the water nearby flows, like Shorey Brook. All the water falling down from the sky makes Mountain Pond a wet location; most of the rain falls all through November; February on the other hand is the driest. A       brilliant close by hotel is Bar Harbor Inn. At Mountain Pond during the days of summer highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Mountain Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Narraguagus River offers some pleasant whitewater; the vista of pretty Pleasant Mountain is great.                  This place, Mountain Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors fun stuff. This is a great region for people who like lakes. Gray Pond is a lake in the vicinity, and a delightful place to camp here at Mountain Pond is Eastbrook Campground.
