     A lake close by is Mud Pond, and going for a hike along the Bemis Stream Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Mountain Pond reach the 70's; the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, usually in the 50's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Mountain Pond through the winter ordinarily drop into the-10's. While you're here at Mountain Pond you  
   have to have a look at Greenvale Cove, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Bemis Trail.
Black Brook Cove Campground is a pleasant local campground, and paddling on Sandy River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. You could also pop by Beaver Pond while you're here at Mountain Pond; it's close by, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Saddleback since you're here. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the White
 
               Mountains. Evergreen Golf Club & Golf School is a golf course in the neighborhood of Mountain Pond; while you're here you can take a hike along the Angel Falls Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Black Mountain is one of those things you just ought to do; Dead River - South Branch has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby. Mountain Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Mountain Pond, too glorious to be true.
Having a magnificent time in the White Mountains is simple. Mountain Pond is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is a wonderful site to camp nearby, and after a long day outdoors The Perennial Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. If you go for the outdoors, you'll fancy Mountain Pond. You can take a little spree to Haley Pond Dam since you're here at Mountain Pond, and the sight of Beaver Mountain is scenic. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Mountain Pond; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is February.

Today I finished a kayak trip from Strong, Maine and took out at Osoola Park in Norridgewock. It took a day and three quarters. The bridge in New Sharon is by far  the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that. Need to pay attention....
