A lake close by is Mud Pond, and going for a hike along the Bemis Stream Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Mountains. Evergreen Golf Club & Golf School is a golf course in the neighborhood of Mountain Pond; while you're here you can take a hike along the Angel Falls Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Black Mountain is one
of those things you just ought to do; Dead River - South Branch has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby. Mountain Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Mountain Pond, too

The bridge in New Sharon is by far the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that.
