   hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Mother Bush Pond are in the 0's.

               Campground is a great local campground. The annual rain here at Mother Bush Pond is about average; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Allen Point is in the neighborhood of Mother Bush Pond and is a magnificent place to stop by; hey, Bragdon Brook is a good local stream.
This lake is so wonderful. Branch Lake Stream is a fine whitewater spot close to Mother Bush Pond, and you get a good vista of Seven Star Hill from here. On a great day at Mother Bush Pond you can take a hike along the Eagle Lake Trail. While you're here at Mother Bush Pond you can take a hike along the Blue Hill Trail, and Heritage Motor Inn is a splendid site to get some rest.
You can run the rapids of Blue Hill Falls near Mother Bush Pond, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Duck Marsh is right nearby.
