Mainayr Campground is a perfect campground nearby; there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Mopang Stream. This lake is so wonderful. Keenes Lake Camping Grounds is a good local campground, and the Eagle Lake Trail is a great       hiking trail close by. After a long day outdoors Bar Harbor Inn is a delightful place to spend a night or two; needless to say Northeast Brook flows through this vicinity.
