Go to Mopang First Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Be careful coming to Mopang First Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. From Mopang First Lake you obtain a good vista of Northeast Hill, and you can stay the night at Keenes Lake Camping Grounds. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mopang First Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mainayr Campground, and going for a hike on the Lead Mountain Trail is always a wonderful adventure.

| | Summer brings highs in the 70's to Mopang First Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Mopang First Lake. If you need a place to stay Bar Harbor Inn is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Mopang First Lake gets much water; the wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that rains the most while February is generally the driest month. Paddling on Mopang Stream is so much fun; you'll discover a wonderful lake called Mopang Second Lake.
