So many amusing things to do here at Moosehead Lake, too pleasant to be true. While you're here at Moosehead Lake you must pop by Barrows Cove, and going for a hike on the Big Squaw Mountain Trail is always a brilliant adventure. This lake       is so wonderful. Throughout the days of summer at Moosehead Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's while night lows are frequently in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Moosehead Lake. Moosehead Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There are great locations to discover along the Intake Trail; whitewater paddling is wonderful on Moose River. Moosehead Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Caseys Spencer Bay Campground is a splendid local campground, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Lodge at Moosehead Lake.
