Moosehead Lake is a nice lake to visit. After a long day outdoors Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a delightful spot to spend a night or two, and you can stay the night at Caseys Spencer Bay Campground. The skiing at Big Squaw is magnificent, and taking a little visit to close by Deep Cove is a magnificent idea. At Moosehead Lake during the summertime highs are in the 70's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 20's

| | while Moosehead Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's. Moosehead Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Just can't get enough of Moosehead Lake. There are good spots to explore along the Intake Trail, and it's a magnificent idea to explore Forsythe Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Mountain View Pond is near Moosehead Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Moosehead Lake has to offer, you can camp at Northern Pride Lodge and Campground; if you've had enough of Moosehead Lake, Burnham Pond
is nearby. East Outlet Dam is a scenic site in the vicinity of Moosehead Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Kennebec River - East Outlet. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Kennebec River - West Outlet, and going for a hike on the Big Squaw Mountain Trail is always a good adventure.
