    Moose Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Moose Pond gets a common amount of rain; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. If you came for an overnight stay South Branch Pond Campground is a tremendous place to camp; there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Eagle Lake Tote Road. Summertime at Moose Pond arrives with high temperatures  
   in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Moose Pond.
Going for a hike on the Freezeout Road is always a wonderful adventure, and you're almost certainly interested in lakes, Ervin Pond is one of those nearby. This is a fine region for people who like lakes. Elsie Pond is a lake in the vicinity. Katahdin Inn is a great place to get some rest, and don't forget
 
               to take a glorious little tour to Caribou Brook.
This lake is so wonderful. Munsungan Stream has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby; Matagamon Wilderness Campground is a pleasant campground nearby. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Webster Brook, and you can go for a hike on the Munsungan Lake Tote Road.
