Here at Moose Pond you can see Kelloch Mountain, and you can stay the night at Hidden Springs Campground. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Moose Pond highs are usually in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Moose Pond temperatures dip to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wassataquoik Stream, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Moose Pond; Sand Bank Trail is a wonderful local trail. fact bountiful here at Moose Pond. If you need a location to stay Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a great choice; not far from Moose Pond you'll hit upon Trout Pond which is a beautiful lake. Lots of people from Bangor come to Moose
Pond, and Americas Best Value Heritage Motor Inn is a fine location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's fine hiking along the Sandbank Trail.
