Camping is available at Gilman Pond Campground, and there's delightful hiking along the Fire Warden Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Happy Horseshoe Campground is always a delightful experience, and don't leave Moores Pond without first going for a hike along the Arnolds Trail. Moores Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; November is when you get the most snow here while February is generally the       driest month. Bear Brook flows through this vicinity, and what would winter be without some skiing at Titcomb. The slopes of Sugarloaf USA are so inviting noone can resist. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Moores Pond. Get drenched paddling on Carrabasset, and at Moores Pond you can observe Bald Mountain. Paddling on Sandy Stream is so much fun; after a long day outdoors Bingham Motor Inn is a good site                  to spend a night or two. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Moores Pond get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
