    In Maine there are many beautiful lakes, Moores Pond is one of them. If the weather is splendid here at Moores Pond, you can go for a hike along the Arnolds Trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Gilman Pond. Camping at Happy Horseshoe Campground is always a great experience; delightful scenery and great skiing is what you acquire at Titcomb. This lake is so wonderful. Bear Brook is a stream that you may encounter while  
   you're here. Lakes are great; Spruce Pond is a lake that's next to Moores Pond.
On a glorious day at Moores Pond you can take a hike along the Fire Warden Trail, and if you need a place to stay Bingham Motor Inn is a pleasant choice. Moores Pond is a good place of common rainfall; November is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest of the months is February. Man, is there heaps of amusing stuff to do close to Moores Pond. There's whitewater on
 
               Sandy Stream for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and camping is available at Gilman Pond Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. A great view of beautiful Bald Mountain is available from Moores Pond. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Moores Pond. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Moores Pond. You can run the rapids of Carrabasset near Moores Pond, and hey, Gotta ski right? Sugarloaf USA is a great location to do that.

Breezy Acres Camps and Guide Service is located in both Solon and Eustis Maine. He have housekeeping cabins which are set up with full size stoves, refrigerators,microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The beds are made with linens and there are plenty of towels for the shower in the bathroom. Each cabin has its own picnic table, charcoal grill and outside fire pit. We can sleep up to 38 people.

You can access snowmobile and ATV trails right from the cabin for many miles of riding. Canoeing and kayaking on various lakes, ponds, streams and rivers are a great way to relax. Hunting, fishing, golf and white water rafting are some of the other activities that we offer.

We offer reasonable rates and great hospitality.

Eaton Mountain provides affordable and convenient skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing to the greater Waterville/Skowhegan area. The mountain boasts a suprising variety of terrain for a compact ski area including glades, challenging steeps, and classic New England style trails. Most of the area is covered with snowmaking and is lit for nightskiiing. Equipment rentals and lessons are available. The base lodge has a snackbar and provides a place to warm up by the wood stove and meet friends.
The ski area has new owners as of November 2008 and will not be operating for the 2008-09 ski season. The new owners will be taking the time to make improvements and prepare for a grand reopening in the fall of 2009. Immediate improvements are planned to include an all new snowtubing facility and widening of the Moose slope for a new terrain park.
The ski area is located on Lambert Road, just off Route 2 between Skowhegan and Canaan....
