An afternoon playing golf at Northport Golf Club is always a pleasure, and if you came to camp Aldus Shores Lakeside Camping is a great site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Camden Riverhouse Inn; whitewater paddling is wonderful on Ducktrap River. Any time is a great time at Moody Pond if you fancy the outdoors. Take a hike on the Mount Megunticook Trail, and the peak of Moody Mountain       can be distinguished from Moody Pond. Through the long summer days, highs generally are in the 70's at Moody Pond. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are frequently in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Moody Pond. Hiking along the Mount Battie Trail is glorious fun, and the snow is fine at Camden. Moody Pond is a wet location that gets lots of rain; most of the rain falls during November; the driest                  month is July.
