Summertime highs at Monson Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs all through the winter are mostly in the 20's, and overnight lows at Monson Lake through the wintertime commonly plunge into the 0's. Go for a hike on the Sweets Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Bigrock in close proximity. Man, is there a       lot of amusing things to do in close proximity to Monson Lake. Good hiking is available along the Kennedy Tote Road, and camping is available at Wilde Pines Campground. B Stream is a perfect whitewater spot near Monson Lake, and do stop by Carry Lake, it's a striking lake. A wonderful spot to camp here at Monson Lake is My Brothers Place, and dry warm beds await you at Shiretown Motor Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Houlton Community                  Golf Course; if you need a place to stay Scottish Inns Houlton is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. The annual rain here at Monson Lake is about average; most of the rain falls through July while February is typically the driest month.
