After a long day outdoors The Jeweled Turret Inn is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and there are plenty of people from Rockland here. This lake is so wonderful. Mixer Pond is right by the Ragged Mountain Trail, and if you came       to camp Cozy Pines Campground is a perfect place to do that. Mixer Pond gets a common amount of yearly rain; November is the wettest month with most rain while February is frequently the driest month. Simmons Brook is next to Mixer Pond and is always a bliss to pop by; camping at Aldus Shores Lakeside Camping is always a wonderful experience. Hiking along the Mount Battie Trail                  is glorious fun, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Ducktrap River. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Mixer Pond.
