What a nice lake Mirror Pond is. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Bingham Motor Inn is a magnificent choice, and the top of Big Squaw Mountain is easily seen from Mirror Pond. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Mirror Pond; July is the wettest month with most rain while February is regularly the driest month.
Good hiking is available along the Intake Trail, and get covered with water paddling on Kennebec River - East Outlet.

| | Dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Moosehead Lake; Mirror Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Northern Pride Lodge and Campground is a good local campground. There's so much to do here at Mirror Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Caseys Spencer Bay Campground is a perfect place for that, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Kennebec River - West Outlet.

throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and night lows during the wintertime for Mirror Pond tend to be in the-10's. So much enjoyable stuff near Mirror Pond,
truly tremendous. Go for a hike on the Big Squaw Mountain Trail, and of course Little Squaw Brook is a striking stream that is worth checking out.
