Man, is there a load of entertaining things to do in the vicinity of Mirror Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Kennebec River - East Outlet, and Northern Pride Lodge and Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful.       For the period of the long summer days here at Mirror Pond, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Mirror Pond dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. The annual rain here at Mirror Pond is about average; July is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater                  of Kennebec River - West Outlet, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Intake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Caseys Spencer Bay Campground is a pleasant site to camp. Lakes? Sure, Intake Pond is around here. If the weather is magnificent here at Mirror Pond, you can go for a hike along the Big Squaw Mountain Trail, and not far from Mirror Pond you'll come across Mountain View Pond which is a delightful lake.
