Go for a hike on the Arnolds Trail, and Eaton Mountain is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Be careful coming to Mink Ponds, you might not ever want to go back home again. Bingham Motor Inn is a magnificent location to get some rest; you can run the rapids of Carrying Place Stream. If you came for an overnight stay The Evergreens       Campground and Restaurant is a glorious place to camp, and why not visit close by Bassett Brook while you're here at Mink Ponds. Dry warm beds await you at Herbert Grand Hotel, and there's whitewater on Austin Stream for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Mink Ponds; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Mink Ponds. This                  lake is so wonderful. From Mink Ponds you obtain a fine sight of Cow Mountain, and a lovely lake like Little Chase Pond is a good place to visit.
